Mirjam von Rohr trains in Solothurn and has been competing in the Pro category at Hyrox for the past two seasons. Her weekly training broadly consists of four strength sessions, two running sessions and one dedicated erg session. She practises the sled push separately because it classically breaks over her hips when her legs are tired.
In her training, she relies on three products from the edubily range. She takes creatine year-round, five grams in her morning coffee. She takes EAA before each double session, simply to ensure the second session doesn't run out of steam. Magnesium in the evening, particularly during weeks with lots of wall balls and lunges.
Her training philosophy is straightforward: consistent, not maximal. 'I'd rather have a decent session every day than one session a week that takes me three days to recover from.'
Alongside her sport, she works part-time as a physiotherapist, which shows in her mobility work. Anyone who trains with her does ten minutes of hip openers, whether they like it or not.
